BOSTON, MA (December 7, 2011) – Pangea Media, provider of the SnapApp marketing platform, announced that its SnapApp campaign for Magic Beans is the 2011 winner of the “Best Direct Response Marketing Campaign” for the 16th Annual MITX Interactive Awards. The MITX (Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange) Awards recognize excellence in the creation of web innovations designed, produced or developed in New England.
The Magic Beans “31 Days of Giveaways” campaign was run using Pangea Media’s SnapApp marketing platform. Magic Beans received more than 100,000 entries during the month long campaign which was promoted on Facebook, Twitter, and on the Magic Beans website and blog. Magic Beans used the campaign to expand their mailing list, drive Likes and engagement on Facebook and Twitter, promote and sell products, and increase customer loyalty.
"Our 31 Days of Giveaways promotion was transformed by the innovations SnapApp afforded us. We were able to generate huge customer engagement while also spending markedly less time managing the promotion than in years past. It was a win-win all around," said Sheri Gurock, Founder, Magic Beans.
Seth Lieberman, CEO of Pangea Media, commented, “We are thrilled to have been selected as the ‘Best Direct Response Campaign’ over so many other impressive entries. The success that Magic Beans and our other clients have achieved using SnapApp for their marketing has been phenomenal. This award recognizes all of their efforts as much as the power of the SnapApp platform.
“I also want to point to point out that I love the local connection, “Lieberman went on to say, “While the Internet makes it possible to sell globally, there is something special about working with a company that is literally down the street.” SnapApp claims a number of Boston area companies among its customer base including Dorado Tacos & Cemitas, Rue La La, Drync, Magic Beans and others.
The SnapApp marketing platform empowers brands, publishers and agencies to foster conversations across the web, social and mobile, that build brand affinity, connect, educate, entertain and drive sales.
