It was announced today by Pangea Media, an online marketing company and a leader in quiz-based advertising solutions for both publishers and advertisers alike, that Jessica B., a fourteen year-old quadriplegic residing in Newburyport, MA has won the concert ticket sweepstakes to the Jonas Brothers.
Pangea Media featured the contest on its sites Quibblo.com, FanPrizes.com, as well as other web properties that they hold. The Jonas Brothers trivia quizzes were combined with a chance to win premium tickets along with an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles to see the Jonas Brothers perform live in concert.
The elated winner of the contest is a freshman at Newburyport High School. She was randomly picked out of more than 33,000 eligible entries. The total prize package consists of: two premium tickets to see the Jonas Brothers live in Irvine, CA on Sunday, September 19th; hotel accommodations for four nights; roundtrip airfare from Boston to L.A.; limousine service to and from the concert along with a shopping spree to top it off.
"Jessica is a true Jonas Brothers fan, she has been since they started. She has Jonas Brothers from floor to ceiling in her room. She wakes up every morning and says 'See you later guys!' as she leaves for school," said Jessica's grandmother, Diane C., in a phone interview on Wednesday.
Seth Lieberman, who is the CEO of Pangea Media, paid a surprise visit to Jessica while she was attending class to present her prize package to her. Lieberman Said, "We are thrilled to be able to provide Jessica with this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We wish her a fantastic trip and look forward to hearing about it after the concert."
Traveling with Jessica to the Sunday night concert will be her grandmother. They will be departing for Los Angeles on Saturday, September 18, 2010.
