Marketing/Business Development Interns

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal media buying processes by coordinating IOs, trafficking links and creative, optimizing campaigns, etc.
  • Assist in managing external marketing contractors; Includes direct contact with partners and vendors
  • Maintain and analyze marketing reports
  • Research and source new partners and vendors
  • Support marketing efforts to bloggers, web sites, new user segments
  • Assist with search engine marketing and search engine optimization efforts by researching keywords, writing ad copy, and identifying areas where we can improve our campaigns
  • Create polls, surveys and quizzes as needed (creativity and sense of humor are key assets!)
  • Communicate with users, answer their questions and gather their input

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Detail-oriented mindset with good follow-through
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong writer and critical thinker
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
  • Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and multitasking assignments.
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Very familiar with the Internet including some exposure to social networks and blogs

Perl Development Interns

  • Get valuable experience with Perl and web development
  • Work directly with top notch developers
  • Gain exposure to the challenges and techniques behind large scalable web applications
  • Learn Catalyst, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS, or improve your knowledge of them
  • Gain skill in manipulating and retrieving information from a MySQL database

Web/Graphic Design Interns

We are currently seeking a web graphic design intern to assist our design team with a variety of projects. This position will work directly with our creative lead, and will be designing banner ads, web graphics, and assisting in shaping the look and feel for lots of cool and widely exposed web products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Adobe design software products
  • A strong design sense, and familiarity with current design trends and styles
  • Experience with creating and designing effective animated web advertisements
  • Flash experience a plus, but not required
  • An understanding of CSS and basic web technologies
  • Experience designing for the web environment
  • Ability to adapt to a fast changing environment and multitasking assignments
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines
